A Cheetah helicopter crashed in Arunachal Pradesh, killing its pilot

According to the news agency PTI, a pilot from the Indian Army Cheetah helicopter was killed in a crash in the Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh near the border with China on Wednesday.

During a routine sortie in a forward area, the incident occurred around 10 a.m., according to Walia. According to him, the cause of the crash was not immediately known.

According to Walia, the two pilots on board the aircraft were rushed to the nearest military hospital following the incident. As one of the pilots who was critically injured succumbed to the injuries in the hospital, the other pilot is in the process of receiving treatment.
