A man was sentenced to six months in prison for selling adulterated milk 32 years after the initial complaint.

In Muzaffarnagar, a court sentenced a man to six months in prison for selling contaminated milk, more than 32 years after the initial complaint was filed.

In addition to his conviction, Additional chief judicial magistrate Prashant Kumar levied a Rs 5,000 punishment on accused milk vendor Harbir Singh on Thursday.

Friday, Ramavtar Singh, a prosecutor, told PTI that Harbir Singh was discovered peddling contaminated milk. The prosecution officer stated that a sample of the milk sold by the defendant was seized and sent to a laboratory, where it was discovered to be contaminated.

On April 21, 1990, food inspector Suresh Chand filed a complaint against the milk vendor, according to Ramavtar Singh.
