Amit Shah communicates with Archbishop Andrew Thazhath and other priests during his visit to Kerala.

During his Sunday visit to Kerala, Union Home Minister Amit Shah conferred with Archbishop Andrews Thazhath, a senior bishop of the Catholic Church.
“During my visit to Kochi, I met with the Archbishop of Thrissur, Andrews Thazhath, Fr. Renny Mundenkurian, and Fr. Alex Maprani,” Shah tweeted alongside a photo of the meeting.

Shah, who was in town for the silver jubilee of a private hospital, met the Bishop and other priests at a hotel close to the city’s international airport.
“During my visit to Kochi, I met with the Archbishop of Thrissur, Andrews Thazhath, Fr. Renny Mundenkurian, and Fr. Alex Maprani,” Shah tweeted alongside a photo of the meeting.
However, the specifics of the encounter with the senior bishop of the Catholic church have not yet been disclosed. The church has not yet reacted to it.
Archbishop is also the president of the Indian Catholic Bishops’ Conference.
