Amit Shah predicts that Modi will be prime minister for a third time in 2024.

Shah, who was present at the “India Today Conference,” added that problems relating to three flashpoints — Jammu and Kashmir, the Northeast, and Naxal — had largely been resolved since the Modi government took office.

The home minister claimed that no foreign force dared to meddle in the internal affairs of Pakistan after a surgical strike was made against terrorists there.

“The people will choose the next prime minister of the nation. After travelling around the entire nation, I’ve come to the conclusion that the BJP will once more form the government and that Modi will serve as prime minister for a third term in a row.

During the 1970s, a prime minister never received the support of the people for a third straight term, according to Shah.

The minister responded that the NDA would gain more seats in the general elections of 2024 than it did in 2019. He declared, “We (the BJP) will win more than 303 seats.

Of of the total 543 Lok Sabha seats, the BJP won 303 seats in the general elections of 2019, while the NDA won more than 350.

Shah claimed that 60 crore people did not have bank accounts, 10 crores did not have access to toilets, and 3 crores did not have electricity connections when the Modi government initially took office in 2014.

All of them now have access to banks, restrooms, free food, electricity, and gas connections, according to the Modi administration, he claimed.

Shah added that, in addition, when an issue arises on the international stage, other leaders turn to Modi and what he thinks and believes.

He said that the Modi administration handled the COVID-19 outbreak expertly and successfully immunised all country residents.

When questioned about his position as Union home minister, Shah stated that he was comfortable that issues in three flashpoints—Jammu & Kashmir, the Northeast, and Naxal—had been largely resolved.

According to him, there has been a 60% decrease in violence in Naxal-affected areas and a 70% decrease in violence in Jammu and Kashmir. In addition, numerous rebels have surrendered, and peace accords have been made in the Northeast.

In addition to this, Article 370 was repealed, a Ram temple was erected, and Triple Talaq-related difficulties were handled, according to Shah.

When asked when elections might take place in Jammu and Kashmir, the minister of the interior responded that the Election Commission (EC) would make a decision when it was ready to hold the elections.

“We will send it right away,” he added when the EC requested a report from the home ministry.
