In a communication, the ministry said, “As a precautionary measure, against COVID-19, large gatherings in celebrations should be avoided. The COVID guidelines must be followed.”
India added 16,561 new coronavirus cases, taking the total number of Covid cases to 4,42,23,557, while active cases rose to 1,23,535, according to the Union Health Ministry’s updated data on Friday.
