The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Maldives on cooperation in the field of disaster management. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) of both countries on 2nd August.
“The Union Cabinet chaired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister has given ex-post facto approval to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the National Disaster Management Authority of the Republic of India and the National Disaster Management Authority of the Republic of the Maldives for cooperation in the field of Disaster Management,” The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a statement on Wednesday.
