On Tuesday, a Kharar-based builder’s son was booked for firing a gun after celebrating the purchase of a luxury car. Shubham Rajpoot was arrested after a video of him firing a gun in the air went viral on social media.
Rajpoot was celebrating the purchase of a Bentley at Omega City on Monday evening when the incident occurred.
In response to the video, the local police registered a case at the Kharar (City) police station under Section 336 (any act so recklessly or negligently that endangers human life or the personal safety of others) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
