Deepika Padukone Unveils First Look from ‘Singham Again’, Ranveer Singh Reacts
Bollywood star Deepika Padukone recently unveiled the first look of her character from the upcoming action film ‘Singham Again’. In the photo, Deepika can be seen in an intense and fierce avatar, quite different from her usual glamorous on-screen image.
Sporting short hair and dressed in a police uniform, Deepika looks ready for some high-octane action sequences. She will be playing the role of a tough cop in the Rohit Shetty directorial, which also stars Ajay Devgn reprising his role as Inspector Bajirao Singham.
As soon as Deepika shared the first look on social media, her actor-husband Ranveer Singh was one of the first to react. He commented “Serial killer vibes” on her post, visibly impressed by his wife’s never-seen-before avatar.

‘Singham Again’ marks Deepika and Ajay’s first collaboration. The actress had a cameo appearance in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Chennai Express’ which starred Deepika alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
The upcoming cop drama is the third installment in the ‘Singham’ franchise after ‘Singham’ (2011) and ‘Singham Returns’ (2014). The film went on floors in September this year and the team has been shooting some high-octane sequences in Hyderabad.
While the first look has generated much curiosity around Deepika’s character, other details of the film are still under wraps. ‘Singham Again’ is slated for a Independence Day 2023 release and looks like an promising big-ticket entertainer in Rohit Shetty’s trademark style.
