Government: Anganwadi education beginning this year

Women and Child Development Secretary Indevar Pandey announced on Thursday that from this year, the ministry would subsidise early childhood care and education through Anganwadi institutions across the nation.

The Anganwadi centres are dedicated to combating maternal and infant mortality and malnutrition.
