In the new Agnipath policy, 46,000 Agniveers will be hired for the three services this year, and 50,000-60,000 a year after that. It’s only 25 percent who will be recruited again for a 15-year period, and they’ll get a pension and lifelong healthcare.
In accordance with Air Force rules, civilians born between 29 December 1999 and 29 June 2005 can register as long as they’re Indian or Nepalese. You can find all the eligibility criteria on the IAF’s official Agniveer Vayu site.
