IIT Bombay placements 2022: 25 students receive packages exceeding Rs 1 crore; 71 international offers are received

It has been announced that the Indian Institutes of Technology have begun their campus placement process for 2022. Over 400 organizations at IIT Bombay made over 1500 offers. There have been 25 students who have received packages worth more than Rs 1 crore.

A total of 71 international offers were received. Twelve hundred and twenty-four of the total offers were accepted by students, including 63 offers from abroad.

It is expected that American Express, TSMC, Honda Japan, McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Morgan Stanley, Sprinklr, Reliance, Adani and Tata will be the top recruiters during this placement season.

The placement process is in its first phase and will continue until December 15.

A number of private equity firms have been hiring at the institute, according to official information. Some of the top private equity firms visited the campus this year, including GIC Singapore, Bain Capital, and Elevation Capital.

To facilitate placements, all students attended interviews from the same location regardless of whether the employers conducted interviews in person, remotely, or through a hybrid model. Interviews were conducted in a variety of sectors on a daily basis.
