In Hyderabad, a 5-year-old kid was fatally mauled by stray dogs; the incident was captured on surveillance video.

In a heartbreaking occurrence, stray canines in Hyderabad mauled and killed a 5-year-old child. The latest dog-bite incident, which occurred on Sunday and was seen by a CCTV camera, has once again sparked concerns about the safety of children in an area plagued by stray dogs. Many are also wondering why the child was alone and did not receive assistance.

The child, named as Pradeep, was wandering alone on an empty street when the dogs began howling and ripping at his clothing, as shown in the video.

In the extremely unsettling footage, the youngster can be seen attempting to flee but is quickly encircled by dogs. As he slumped to the ground, the dogs began to attack him from all sides.

Gangadhar, the boy’s father, was a security guard and had brought him to work, as reported by ANI. The infant suffered terrible injuries and was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police have opened an investigation into the incident.

On social media, users responded angrily to the occurrence.

“It’s been going on for a few minutes in broad daylight, and astonishingly no one has gone to the poor child’s aid…

“It’s basically a concrete jungle,” one microblogging site user remarked in response to a video.

“It’s terrifying and sad!” A child attacked by strays! Who will be responsible for this? The government, the municipal administration, animal lovers, or the courts,” stated a second individual.

Minister of Telangana KT Rama Rao took note of the situation and conveyed his condolences to the family.

“We’ve been attempting to combat the street dog menace in our communities. We have established animal care and birth control facilities. “I extend my deepest condolences to the family, and we will do all possible to prevent a recurrence,” he stated, as reported by ANI.

“I am aware I cannot bring the child back. “I’ll do everything in my power to prevent this from happening again,” he continued.

A similar event occurred in Uttar Pradesh, where a seven-year-old kid died after being bitten by stray dogs while playing in his Bilaspur village backyard. By the time surrounding villagers rushed to the boy’s aid, he was bleeding severely. They drove away the dogs and rushed the youngster to the hospital, where physicians pronounced him dead.
