In Kerala, a man lifts and throws a girl onto the road and is arrested

The police reported that a 31-year-old man was arrested on Thursday in this district for flinging a minor to the ground without provocation in the village of Manjeshwar.

In this morning’s incident, a girl of eight years of age was waiting outside the Madrassa for her uncle to pick her up.

According to the police, Aboobacker Siddique, a local resident, was arrested later that day.

When the girl informed her family that someone had struck her while she stood at the roadside, they examined the CCTV pictures of the school.

The video, which has gone viral on social media, shows the accused, Siddique, walking towards the girl, who was standing on the other side of the street, hitting her and violently lifting her before dumping her face down on the ground.

It was evident that he was walking back as if nothing had happened.

The incident thoroughly shook her, and her uncle reported that she was not yet ready to discuss the incident with her family members. It was later revealed that she was struck by someone while standing along the roadside. In view of this, I went back and examined the CCTV footage and was shocked to see what I saw.

The police arrested the accused after there was a flurry of outcry on social media platforms and local television channels began airing the visuals.

According to a police officer, a case has been registered under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) 307 (attempt to murder) and specific provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, and he has been arrested. There are no external injuries to the girl. She is undergoing a thorough medical examination at a hospital in Mangalore,” he stated.
