India records 754 new cases of Covid every day.

After a break of more than four months, more than 700 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in one day. This brought the total number of active cases to 4,623, according to data from the Union Health Ministry that was updated on Thursday.

On November 12 of last year, the country had already seen 734 cases.

In the last 24 hours, 754 new cases of coronavirus were reported, bringing the total number of deaths to 5,30,790. One death was reported by Karnataka, bringing the total number of deaths to 5,30,790.

So far, there have been 4.46 million cases of Covid reported (4,46,92,710).

Active cases now make up 0.1% of all infections, and the national COVID-19 recovery rate has been recorded at 98.80%, according to the health ministry website.

The number of people who have gotten better from the disease rose to 4,41,57,297, and the number of people who died from it was 1.19 per cent.

The ministry’s website says that so far, 220.64 billion doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been given to people in the country as part of the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive.
