India’s active cases of Covid-19 grow to 7,028; the country reports 5 deaths.

Wednesday saw the addition of 1,134 additional cases, bringing the total number of active Covid-19 cases in India to7,026, as reported by the Union Health Ministry.

According to the data, five deaths were reported in Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Kerala. The overall number of fatalities reached 5,30,813.

Daily positivity was 1.09 percent, while weekly positivity was 0.98 percent. 4.46 billion Covid cases were registered in total (4,46,98,118).

Due to the increase in the number of active cases, it now accounts for 0.02 percent of all infections. The ministry reports that the national Covid-19 recovery rate is 98.79%.

A total of 92.05 billion tests have been conducted to date, with 1,03,831 conducted in the last 24 hours alone.

A total of 4,416,0279 people had recovered from the disease, while the case fatality rate was 1.19 percent.

According to the ministry’s website, India has administered a total of 220.65 billion doses of Covid vaccine to date.

That has increased the level of anxiety regarding the ongoing influenza outbreaks. According to a research published on March 16, the medicine, when combined with the standard of care (SOC), hastens recovery, reduces hospitalisation, and improves Covid-19 patients’ health.
