The Poland international left the pitch in tears, accompanied by the Juventus medical staff, to a standing ovation from the crowd.
Shortly before halftime, Mattia Perin replaced Wojciech Szczesny in goal for Juventus.
Szczesny stated, “I am fine, I was a little anxious, but we ran all the tests and everything is fine.”
It had never happened to me before, I was labouring to breathe, and it caused me great concern.
