JEE (Main) 2023 Registration for January session begins; see schedule

JEE (Main) 2023: The National Testing Agency has begun registration for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) for the January session of 2023. Students will have two chances to take the exam this year as well. It is possible for candidates to apply on the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The deadline for applications is January 12, 2023 at 9 p.m. Exams will be conducted on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2023.

The JEE (Main) – 2023 will be offered in 13 languages, including Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

How to apply for JEE (Main) 2023

Step 1: Visit the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Click on application on the bottom of the homepage.

Step 3: Click on ‘new registration’ and enter your details.

Step 4: Once you have the application number and password, login using that.

Step 5: Fill the application form and upload necessary documents.

Step 6: Save, submit, and pay.

Step 7: Download the application form for future reference.

It is necessary for candidates to pass their class 12 examination in 2021, 2022 or to be appearing in 2023 in order to qualify for the JEE (Main) 2023 examination. It is not necessary for them to fulfil the age requirements of the institutes in which they wish to pursue admission for the exam, however, they may be required to satisfy the age criteria of those institutes.

The JEE (Main) consists of two papers. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programs at NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) and other institutes recognized or funded by participating state governments. In addition, it serves as an eligibility test for the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) JEE (Advanced). For the purpose of admission to the BArch and BPlanning programs, paper 2 is administered.
