The club has signed Juan Mata the former Manchester United midfielder a two-year contract for 1.9 million euros ($1.91 million), said Turkish soccer powerhouse Galatasaray.
Galatasaray said on Thursday, The second year of the Spain international’s contract will be optional. The 34-year-old moved to United from Chelsea in January 2014 and played in 285 matches during eight years, winning the FA Cup, the League Cup, and the Europa League.
A professed playwright, Mata scored 51 pretensions and 47 assists for United but constantly failed to replicate the form that made him an essential part of Chelsea’s attacking set- up. The Turkish Super Liga side also blazoned that they’ve inked Gray striker Mauro Icardi on loan from Paris Saint- Germain for the 2022 – 2023 season.
Galatasaray also inked Uruguay midfielder Lucas Torreira on a four-time contract with Arsenal last month.
