Kamal Nath, the Congress leader, is available to join the BJP

Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Kamal Nath on Monday stated that anyone who wishes to leave this party and instead join BJP is welcome to do so as the party is not going to stop anyone.
“Whoever would like to join BJP can join BJP. We’re not going to hinder anyone from joining. If they (Congress officials) are looking to leave and look at the future of the BJP, I’d loan them my vehicle (car) to travel and join BJP. Congress will not prevent any person from quitting,” said the former chief minister.

In a conversation with journalists, Nath asked, “just because someone leaves Congress, do you think the party is over?” Nath added, “People do what they do out of their own intent, no one does anything out of pressure.”
In the last week, eight Congress MLAs from Goa have joined BJP. In the past couple of months, several prominent leaders have resigned from Congress including the long-time politician Ghulam Nabi Azad. He has recently revealed plans to create his own party.
