Keeping a close eye on developments following the attack on Imran Khan, India says

In response to Imran Khan’s shooting on Thursday evening in Gujranwala, Wazirabad, the Ministry of External Affairs said the Centre is closely monitoring the situation in Pakistan.
A number of local news channels reported that shots were fired at Khan’s reception camp in Gujranwala town. During a protest march towards Islamabad, Khan was shot in the leg while he was reportedly out of danger.
“It is a recent development. We are closely monitoring ongoing developments and will continue to do so,” MEA Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said.
