Soon after Heeraba, the mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad Wednesday morning due to health concerns, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi posted a “get well soon” greeting for her on Twitter.
Gandhi tweeted in Hindi, “The love between a mother and a son is timeless and irreplaceable. In this terrible moment, my love and support are with you, Modi ji. I wish your mum a speedy recovery.”
According to BJP officials, Heeraba Modi, 100, was transported to the U N Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre in Ahmedabad. Her condition is stable, according to the hospital.

In the afternoon, state BJP head C R Paatil and chief principal secretary to the Gujarat chief minister, Bhupendra Patel, were also seen entering the hospital. Rushikesh Patel, state health minister, also arrived at the hospital. Additionally, the prime minister is at the hospital.
Heeraba and her youngest son Pankaj, a retired Gujarat government officer, reside in the Gandhinagar district of the state’s Raisan. The last time Modi saw her was on December 4, the day before he voted in the second phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections.
