NIA files FIRs in Dhangri attack, blast

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed two First Information Reports (FIRs) about the shooting of civilians in Dhangri, Jammu and Kashmir, on January 1 and the explosion of an IED in the same area the next day, which killed four people and hurt seven others. In the FIR, the NIA said that criminals who had not been caught had set off an explosion with the goal of upsetting the peace and quiet in J&K at the request of a cross-border agency. In the first FIR, the NIA said, “On January 1, unknown terrorists with guns and ammunition broke into people’s homes in Dhangri and started shooting at innocent civilians.”

In the second FIR, the NIA wrote, “On January 2, unknown terrorists set off an explosion in the Dhangri area of Rajouri district.” After these things happened, Union Home Minister Amit Shah met with people from security agencies and the armed forces in J&K to talk about them. He then gave the cases to the NIA.
