On the direction of the MHA, the Delhi Police provides Z+ security to CDS Anil Chauhan

On Monday, an official from the Delhi Police confirmed that Gen Anil Chauhan was provided with Z+ security as requested by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

As India’s new Chief of the Defence Staff, Chauhan will be responsible for implementing the ambitious theaterisation plan that will ensure tri-services synergy and prepare the armed forces for future security challenges.

As per MHA’s instructions, CDS Gen Anil Chauhan has been provided with Z+ security.

Over nine months after the death of First Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Gen Bipin Rawat in a helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu, Gen Chauhan took over as the country’s senior-most military commander.
