The Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has closed its undergraduate admissions with more than 29,000 applications received.
The number of candidates who applied for admission to AUD last year was approximately 32,000. In spite of the fact that university officials had reported that more than 3 lakh candidates had indicated AUD as a preferred university on their Common University Entrance Test (CUET) forms submitted to the National Testing Agency (NTA).
For undergraduate admissions, AUD has also opted to use CUET scores instead of the cut-off system adopted by Delhi University this year.
As a result, the university will now release its first merit list for undergraduate admissions on October 18. A separate merit list will be prepared for each programme based on the candidates’ CUET scores. The marks of the four best subjects in Class XII will be taken into consideration in the event of a tie. In the event of a tie, the age of the candidates will be taken into account, and the older candidate will receive preference.
