PCB appoints Matthew Hayden to guide the Pakistan squad for World Cup

The Pakistan Cricket Board( PCB) has re-appointed Australian batting good Matthew Hayden as the squad guide for the ICC World T20 Cup to be held in Australia.

Hayden raised self-confidence that the Pakistan squad with its strong players will light up the mega occasion to be clenched next month.

Hayden worked out with the Pakistan squad during the World T20 Cup in the United Arab Emirates last year and looked Pakistan defeat Australia in the semi-finals.

The PCB told Hayden will join the squad in Brisbane on October 15, the day Pakistan will come from Christchurch after partaking in the T20I series, which will similarly take in Bangladesh and hosts New Zealand.

The PCB also appointed South Africa’s Vernon Philander as a bowling adviser for the last World Cup.

The PCB said the decision is the durability of Hayden’s involvement with the national men’s team as he inspired them to the semi-finals of the last World Cup.

PCB chairperson Rameez Raja stated,” I welcome Matthew Hayden to return to the colors of Pakistan. He’s a proven artist with his credentials recognized and recognized across the globe.
