Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a Constitution Day event: Judiciary takes action to ensure timely justice for all

According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Supreme Court is taking a number of measures to ensure that justice is provided to all in a timely manner. At the Constitution Day celebration at the Supreme Court, Prime Minister Modi also stated that the entire world was watching India, which is experiencing rapid economic growth and development.
India has become the Mother of Democracy because of the commitment, pledges, and beliefs expressed in the Preamble of its Constitution, the Prime Minister said, according to news agency PTI. In addition, he noted that the judiciary was “taking a number of measures, including e-initiatives, to ensure that justice is rendered to all in a timely manner.”
The Prime Minister also launched new initiatives under the e-court project, which leverages information and communication technology to provide services to litigants, lawyers, and the judiciary. In addition to the ‘virtual justice clock’, the ‘Justis’ mobile app 2.0, the digital court, and an ‘S3WaaS’ website, Prime Minister Modi launched various initiatives.
Earlier in the day, he lauded “those greats who gave us our Constitution” and assured the nation that he would fulfill their vision.

According to the Prime Minister, citizens should put fulfilling their fundamental duties first in order to take the country to greater heights as it prepares to celebrate its centennial anniversary. Citing Mahatma Gandhi, Modi stated that citizens have a duty to fulfill their fundamental rights with the utmost dedication and integrity. It is essential to ensure that our duties are our first priority, whether we are an individual or an institution. In the PM’s words, “The Amrit Kaal marks the beginning of the era of our duties.”
In today’s world, great expectations are placed on us. Our country is moving forward with full potential today, taking pride in its diversity, and the Constitution is one of our greatest strengths. A powerful force known as Pro-People is empowering the country today. Laws are being simplified in order to make them more accessible to the general public. The nectar period of freedom is also known as the “duty period” for the country. We pledge to fulfill our responsibilities, whether they are those of individuals or of institutions,” the Prime Minister said.

Having mentioned that new opportunities are coming up for India, the PM stated: “We have crossed all hurdles and we are going forward.” India will assume the presidency of the G20 in a week’s time. It’s big! It is our duty as Team India to enhance India’s prestige before the world and to bring its contributions before them. ANI reported that it’s our collective duty.
Aiming to strengthen India’s status as the “Mother of Democracy”, Prime Minister Modi stated: “Our constitution is youth-oriented. Additionally, on this Constitution Day, I would like to request that the country’s judiciary increase debate and discussion in order to increase youth understanding of the constitution.
As India was celebrating the adoption of the Constitution in 2008, Prime Minister Modi paid tribute to the victims of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
The Indian Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas) was celebrated on Saturday, and several senior politicians took to social media to greet their fellow citizens and pay tribute to those who contributed to its drafting.
In recognition of the adoption of the Constitution of India by the Constituent Assembly in 1949, the 26th of November has been observed as Constitution Day since 2015.
During a tweet in Hindi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated: “Constitution is the life force of Indian democracy that not only guarantees equal rights to every citizen, but also gives them the opportunity to move forward by protecting those rights.” On this occasion, I would like to express my appreciation for all those who contributed to drafting the Constitution and wish the countrymen a very Happy Constitution Day.

In his speech, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi stated that he would walk on the road of unity until the Constitution is upheld in its entirety. On Twitter, Gandhi wrote, “I will not give up until every word of our Constitution is upheld, and until each citizen is protected by fairness and justice.”

According to Kiren Rijiju, Union Law Minister, citizens are urged to “commit themselves to the fundamental values of our democratic nation and uphold the principles of Justice, Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity” enshrined in our Constitution.
Speaking at an event held on the lawns of the Supreme Court on the eve of Constitution Day, Rijiju called for fraternal ties between the two pillars of democracy, stating that they are like brothers and should not compete.

In a statement to the news agency PTI, he stated that the central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has never undermined the authority of the judiciary and will always ensure its independence and promote its autonomy.
Union Minister of Textiles, Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Piyush Goyal, stated that India’s progress in Amrit Kaal was based upon the values enshrined in the Constitution: “This day, let us remember and salute its makers for their steadfastness and foresight that gave us this living document in 1949.”

On the occasion of Constituion Day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended his warm greetings to the people of his state.

A tribute to the visionaries who framed the Constitution of India was also made by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who said, “On Constitution Day, we should reaffirm our commitment to upholding the ideals enshrined in the Constitution in letter and spirit and performing the fundamental duties diligently”.
A poster from Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, the 2000 film in which the Malayalam actor won a National Film Award for Best Actor, has been shared by the National Film Archive of India (NFAI) in commemoration of the occasion.

On the occasion of Constitution Day, Dr Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Science and Technology Shantanu Thakur, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Congress leader Nitin Agarwal, and Minister of State for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Shantanu Thakur extended their greetings.
