Rahul Gandhi, an MP for the Congress party, was seen riding a snowmobile in Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir, while on a short trip with his sister, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who is the general secretary of the party. The head of the Congress’s youth group, BV Srinivas, posted a video of the two driving down the snowy slopes of the ski resort. When the video started, Priyanka Gandhi was driving. After a while, she switched places with Rahul, who was in the passenger seat.
Gandhi was seen last week taking skiing lessons on Gulmarg’s slopes and riding a cable car. This was a “perfect vacation,” according to the media, after his hard 3,000+ km “Bharat Jodo Yatra” from Kanniyakumari in Tamil Nadu to Srinagar in J&K.

Gandhi refused to answer political questions from reporters. When asked about the Gautam Adani-Hindenburg financial scandal, he only said “namaskar.”
But before going down the hill, he took selfies with a group of excited tourists.
One tourist said, “We’re lucky to have met Shri Rahul Gandhi.”
The snowmobile video was posted on the same day that Rahul Gandhi led a meeting of party leaders in J&K and criticised the BJP for the ongoing eviction drive in the union territory, which he said was a “deliberate move” to take attention away from real problems.
The UT’s government has started an eviction campaign against what it calls “big landowners” and “influential” people who move onto their land.
