BJP portrays opposition alliance ‘INDIA’ as ten-headed Ravana

The BJP launched a vicious assault on the opposition alliance ‘INDIA’ on Wednesday, posting three short videos on social media depicting the 26-member coalition as the ten-headed demon king Ravana.

In the short videos uploaded on Twitter, the BJP attempted to demonstrate that a government composed of multiple coalition partners is incapable of foresight and decisive action due to divergent constituent opinions.

“In order to be farsighted, one requires only two eyes like an eagle, not twenty… “Country’s vision will blur if it has to spend five years with you,” the main character in one of the videos informs the ten-headed individual who wanted to use his telescope to observe the landscape.

The video concludes with the suggestion, “Ravana’s house has been burned down, but he has not been elected.”

“Changing the name does not change the intention,” the BJP tweeted alongside the video.

Tuesday, the 26 opposition parties established the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) to challenge the ruling NDA in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

In another video, the BJP attempted to convey that the opposition parties’ alliance is confusing to the public because it lacks a policy, a vision, and a leader.

“Naam badla, per kya kaam badlenge (Name changed, but will the deeds also change)?” the party asked in the brief video.

“The 130 billion citizens of the country are confused by your’mahathugbandhan’ (greater alliance of cheats). What is strategy? What is the purpose? Each of the ten heads claimed to be the leader in response to the question posed by the proprietor of a mobile shop to the ten-headed individual.

The video also attempted to convey that the country’s development will halt if the people vote for the united opposition in the 2024 elections.
