Seven killed as bus falls from bridge in Hazaribagh

On saturday seven people were killed and 45 others were injured when a bus fell off a bridge in Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh district.

Police said that there were two bridges on the road falling under Tatijharia police station area, in which heavy vehicles did not move on one bridge, but it was used by the bus driver.

All the Sikh community travelers were going from Giridih to Ranchi to attend a religious program. Seven people died on the spot and 11 were injured, Hazaribagh SP Manoj Ranjan Chothe said.

Burdened by the death of people in a machine accident in Hazaribagh quarter of Jharkhand. My thoughts are with the deprived families at this sad time. soliciting that the wounded get well soon, PM Narendra Modi twittered.
