The BJP government changed the riwaz of giving by only taking from the people: Priyanka Gandhi

The BJP ruling government of Himachal Pradesh only took from the population during its five years of rule, rather than providing, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, on Friday, promised to revive the old pension scheme and to create “one lakh new jobs in the initial cabinet session” in the event that the party is in rule.
At her first rally in Himachal in the Himachal state where single-phase Assembly election is scheduled to take place on November 12, Priyanka hit back at the BJP in claiming that the state of Himachal Pradesh will not follow the pattern of changing government every five years. She also claimed that the ruling party had has changed the course by not making any progress.
“This (BJP) Government claims that the riwaz (tradition) must be modified. I say it has already been changed. The Congress governments and their chief ministers were committed to the country’s development and for its people. This has transformed in the last five years. In lieu to giving away, the government took away from the people who gave to them,” Priyanka said, in her address to the “Parivartan Pratigya Rally’ in Thodo Maidan in Solan.
Priyanka has said that two crucial decision-making processes will be made at the first Cabinet meeting when the Congress is elected as the its government. “One lakh jobs will be created, and employment provided at the first Cabinet meeting. Additionally, the previous pension system will also be reinstated,” she said.
The Congress leader claimed that there are 2 lakh public employees in the state, and they have been on”dharna” (sit-in) over the past two months, demanding the reinstatement of the pension scheme they used to have. “No person has ever stepped up to speak to them. A government official has not met with them.” the woman said. Asserting that 63,000 jobs were unfilled in the state, yet unemployed young people were not offered jobs.
She added that five lakh jobs will be offered to unemployed youth throughout the five years during the term of Congress administration. The government also she announced an allowance per month of Rs. 1,500 for women to raise standards of living.
Priyanka claimed that the government BJP had cited insufficient funds for paying staff but “opens the government’s coffers in the event of paying off loans from corporates”.
“This government allows companies to determine the prices on the apples, and also other fruits, and it does not think about people who are farmers,” the minister said saying that the state is facing a debt load of 63,200 crore, in addition to “the BJP squandered the money belonging to the residents from Himachal”.
Criticizing the string of ceremonies inaugurated by the Chief Minister Jairam Thakur over the last couple of days, Priyanka said, “I always wanted to know whether there are flights available towards Shimla. Shimla airport. There would be none. Two months before the election and they’ve already started this. The BJP’s intentions are very clear,” she said.
Priyanka she said that she was confident that Congress would establish at minimum 4 English medium school in every Assembly constituency in line with the plans of the former CM Virbhadra Singh. She also addressed the issue of drug addiction. Congress chief also discussed the growing increase in the use of drugs in the state and stated that there would be a plan to create a policy and de-addiction centres will be opened in each district. The primary health center will also be strengthened in order to provide more health facilities for patients. The party is also planning to open an food processing facility in Solan.
In an effort to connect with the emotions, Priyanka credited her grandmother and former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi for the Himachal statehood. She stated that she had decided to construct a home in the Shimla’s Mashobra because her grandmother wanted to build a home in the state and then retire there. “It was her dream that her remains would also be able to find a an appropriate spot in Himachal. If you glance around and look at the snow-covered high peaks, you’ll discover it is believed that Indira Gandhi was also a part of it.” declared Priyanka
In the past, she paid obeisance earlier at the Maa Shoolini Temple in Solan district prior to officially launching the Congress’ election campaign in the state of hill. The address began by introducing “Shoolini Mata Ki Jai” and launched the Congress”election theme song.
Gandhi’s rally is scheduled for the morning after prime minister Narendra Modi held two rally in Una and Chamba following the opening and laying of the foundations of a variety of projects and the flagging off India’s fourth Vande Bharat Express from Una. The rally is also is at a moment when the party is trying to handle a split group of members with multiple candidates for the post of the chief minister. According to party sources, the central committee for elections is scheduled to take place on Saturday, and the initial list of candidates is expected to be announced.
Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel Bhupesh Baghel, the Congress’ Himachal unit president Pratibha Singh, the Leader of the Opposition in the Himachal Assembly Mukesh Agnihotri and the chairperson of the party’s electoral campaign committee Sukhvinder Sukhu, senior leader Rajeev Shukla and Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Pratap Singh Bajwa were also present at the rally.
