The first international diabetes medical journal from Kerala has been launched at the global diabetes meeting

In Stockholm, Sweden, Dr Tadej Battelino launched the first international journal from the Asian subcontinent to publish articles on diabetes technologies, the International Journal of Diabetes and Technology (IJDT).

Dr Jothydev Kesavadev is the Editor-in-Chief of the IJDT, published by Wolters Kluwer. Journal editors with international reputations cover diabetes technology and types, pathogenesis, diagnoses, treatments, therapeutics, comorbidities, and case reports.

IJDT, founded by its Editor-in-chief, Dr Jothydev Kesavadev, is published by Wolters Kluwer.

As a peer-reviewed scientific electronic journal, IJDT publishes original articles, reviews, commentary, analysis, and letters to editors, as well as scientific and medical literature related to diabetes management technologies and therapies. IJDT was established in order to promote diabetes research in India and to publish it more quickly and efficiently, according to Dr Jothydev Kesavadev, IJDT’s EIC. Individuals from any speciality may submit their work to the journal, provided that it is within the scope of the journal

“…only through innovative research can we effectively manage diabetes and prevent its associated complications in the future”, said Dr Tadej Battelino, chairperson, ATTD (Advanced Technologies & Treatments for Diabetes). The function was presided over by Diabetes India Secretary General Dr Banshi Saboo. It was Ms Gopika Krishnan, Executive Editor of IJDT, who delivered the vote of thanks.
