Trespasser Hides In Mamata Banerjee’s Residence Whole Night; Serious Questions Raised Over Negligence Of Security Staff

A senior officer of Kolkata Police said that questions about the negligence of the policemen posted there cannot be ruled out. It is learned that all the officers and personnel in charge of security arrangements at the Chief Minister’s residence will be questioned and the negligent party will also be investigated.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s security personnel on Sunday morning caught a trespasser who had allegedly entered the West Bengal Chief Minister’s residence in south Kolkata. The trespasser allegedly climbed the boundary wall of the chief minister’s residence late Saturday night and hid inside the house for the entire night. The police are now interrogating him after he was handed over to the local Kalighat police station. Police are interrogating him as to with what intention he dared to enter that high-security zone and that too after climbing the walls.
How did he manage to sneak in?
During interrogation, he confessed that he climbed the boundary wall and entered the chief minister’s residence around 1 pm and hid there for the whole night. Now questions are being raised that how did the person enter the Chief Minister’s residence by climbing the wall, dodging the security personnel present there, and also escaping from the CCTV cameras installed there.
A serious security lapse, the act of negligence
Recently, an elderly couple was murdered in this locality, raising questions about the security system there. Then it came to know that many CCTV cameras installed there were not working.
