Vijender Singh joins Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra with a twirl of the moustache and a fist pump

Rahul Gandhi tweeted a photo of boxer and Congress leader Vijender Singh twirling their moustaches at the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Madhya Pradesh Friday.

A small couplet in Hindi, written by Gandhi, emphasized the strength and determination of the Yatra participants.

Earlier, Singh had also tweeted about joining the Yatra, having been “inspired by Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi”.

For the first time, Priyanka and her husband, Robert Vadra, and their son Raihan, joined the Yatra on Thursday.

After winning a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Singh joined Congress just before the 2019 Lok Sabha election. Several Commonwealth Games have also awarded him silver and bronze medals.
