As the 246-kilometer Delhi-Dausa-Lalsot segment of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway prepares for its inauguration, Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, has uploaded a compilation film depicting various sections of the highly anticipated project beneath the night sky.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, it is anticipated to offer a significant economic boost to the entire region.

The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, once finished, will be India’s longest greenfield motorway, spanning 1,379 kilometres. It will lower the distance between the national capital and the financial capital by 12%, from 1,424 kilometres to 1,242 kilometres, and travel time by 50%, from the present 24 hours to 12 hours.

The Expressway would connect key towns like as Kota, Indore, Jaipur, Bhopal, Vadodara, and Surat, passing through six states: Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. It will also increase communication with economic areas like as Jaipur, Kishangarh, Ajmer, Kota, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Bhopal, Ujjain, Indore, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Surat, hence fostering economic growth in the region.
