When will we have ‘China pe Charcha’? The Congress president asks Prime Minister Modi a question

The Congress on Saturday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi didn’t let Parliament discuss the situation along the Chinese border and asked why he wasn’t taking the nation into confidence.
He attacked the government just days after Indian soldiers clashed with Chinese soldiers in Tawang.
They claimed the Chinese build-up in Doklam threatened the strategic “Siliguri Corridor” – the gateway to northeastern states – and wanted to know when there will be “China pe charcha”.
In Doklam, Chinese troops are building up to Jampheri Ridge, threatening India’s strategic Siliguri Corridor. Our national security is at stake here! “@narendramodi ji, when will we have… ‘CHINA PE CHARCHA’? ” Kharge tweeted at Prime Minister Modi’s “chai pe charcha” campaign.

It is the prime minister’s political and moral duty to provide his “mann ki baat” on the seven questions posed to him by his party, according to Congress general secretary communications Jairam Ramesh.
“The nation wants to know… why are you insisting that there should be no debate in Parliament on the border situation and the challenges posed by China,” he asked.
There have been an unprecedented 18 meetings between you and the top Chinese leadership, and you recently shook hands with President Xi Jinping in Bali. Following this incursion, China unilaterally altered the border situation and launched an incursion into Tawang shortly thereafter. Could you please explain why you are not taking the nation into confidence?” the Congress leader asked.
On June 20, 2020, Ramesh asked why the prime minister claimed that China had not entered Indian territory in eastern Ladakh. In addition, he asked, “Why have you allowed the Chinese to prevent our troops from accessing thousands of square kilometers in eastern Ladakh where we had previously patrolled regularly before May 2020?”
Congress leader also questioned why the prime minister abandoned the plan for establishing a Mountain Strike Corps, which was approved by the Cabinet on 17 July 2013.
What is the rationale for allowing Chinese companies to contribute to PM CARES Fund? In the past two years, imports from China have reached record levels.
The attack by the Congress came a day after Rahul Gandhi said the government was sleeping while the Chinese were preparing for war.
A sharp reaction to Gandhi’s remarks was issued by the BJP, which said Gandhi was lowering the morale of the armed forces.
Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister, stated in Parliament on December 9 that Chinese troops attempted to change the status quo unilaterally along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the Yangtse area of Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang sector but were forced to retreat by the Indian Army’s “firm and resolute” response.
The confrontation took place amid the 30-month-old border standoff between the two sides in eastern Ladakh.
