Samastipur: In a recent decision, the Samastipur Municipality has officially renamed Magardahi Road, stretching from Mohanpur Chowk to Azad Nagar Road, as Gaurav Road.
The renaming is part of the municipality’s ongoing efforts to update and recognize important roads within the town. The newly designated Gaurav Road covers a key stretch that connects Mohanpur Chowk with Azad Nagar Road and serves as an important route for local residents and commuters.
Municipal officials have confirmed that the new name will be reflected in official records, signage, and future civic documentation. Residents and visitors are expected to gradually adopt the new name as updated signboards and maps are put in place.
The municipality has requested the public to take note of the change and use the new name, Gaurav Road, in official correspondence and address references.
