Over 5,000 Vacancies Announced for Chhattisgarh Police Constables

Raipur, January 2, 2024: The Chhattisgarh Police Department has begun accepting online applications for over 5,000 constable vacancies across the state. Candidates interested in joining the police force have until February 15 to submit their applications on the official website cgpolice.gov.in.
Total 5,967 Vacancies Announced
According to the notification released by the department, a total of 5,967 vacancies have been announced for the post of constable. The minimum eligibility criteria include completion of Class 10 from a recognized board and being between the ages of 18-28 years. Age relaxations apply for candidates from SC, ST, and naxal-affected regions.
Selection Process
The selection process will comprise physical efficiency tests, written exams, trade tests, document verification, and a final medical examination. Only those who clear the initial rounds will proceed to the next level.
