Vande Bharat Express was again stoned in Bihar.

The Vande Bharat Express was pelted with stones while travelling through the Katihar area in Bihar, according to a railway official on Saturday.

The latest incident was reported by a passenger of train 22302 travelling from New Jalpaiguri to Howrah on Friday evening, according to Kamal Singh, the senior security commissioner of the Katihar railway division.

“At 16:25, the passenger reported to the train guard party that a stone had struck the coach. The incident took occurred between Dalkhola and Telta stations in the Balrampur police station region of the district, according to a district official.

At Dalkhola, railway officials inspected the bogie and discovered a window with cracks. The relevant police station was then informed of the request to investigate the event. This is the second occurrence of this type involving a semi-high-speed train in the state in less than a month.

The train was pelted with stones in the Kishanganj district on January 3, and three lads, recognised by CCTV footage, were apprehended and brought before the juvenile justice board. Mamata Banerjee, chief minister of West Bengal, became irate and vowed to sue media sites that falsely stated that stone pelting occurred in her state.
