Amit Shah Asserts Confidence in BJP’s Victory: “No Doubt, PM Modi Will Retain Power”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah expresses optimism at BJP convention, highlighting achievements and attacking opposition ahead of 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

In a spirited address at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) convention held on Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah exuded confidence in his party’s prospects for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, asserting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will retain power.

Shah’s remarks resonated with conviction as he declared, “There is no doubt in the country; people have made up their minds that PM Modi will retain power.” Taking a swipe at the Congress party, Shah emphasized, “If family-run politics existed in BJP, then the son of a tea seller would not have become the country’s PM.”

Accompanied by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP chief JP Nadda, and other senior leaders, Shah reflected on the achievements of the Modi government, highlighting significant advancements across various sectors within the span of 10 years. Commending PM Modi’s foreign policy initiatives, Shah noted a strategic shift, stating, “Nothing is above the security of India,” as Modi aimed to foster global friendships without compromising national security.

Looking ahead to the Lok Sabha elections, Shah outlined the BJP’s campaign strategy, indicating plans to disseminate PM Modi’s vision for India in 2047, coinciding with the nation’s centenary of independence. Shah reiterated the BJP’s commitment to engaging with constituents across every constituency to convey the transformative trajectory envisioned under PM Modi’s leadership.

In a scathing critique of the opposition INDIA alliance, Shah accused the Congress party of undermining democratic principles, alleging corruption, nepotism, appeasement, and casteism as detrimental factors. He warned against the efforts of nepotistic parties to stifle independent public opinion.

Amidst the convention proceedings, a white paper on the Indian economy during the UPA government’s tenure was released, unveiling details of financial irregularities observed over the past decade. The document served as a stark reminder of the challenges faced under previous administrations, contrasting with the BJP’s vision for economic reform and progress.

As the BJP gears up for the electoral battle ahead, Shah’s resolute address at the convention underscored the party’s unwavering commitment to governance, development, and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
