“Khalistan should not be perceived as…”: Amritpal Singh as Lovepreet Singh will be launched today.

Amritpal Singh, a radical preacher in Amritsar, stated on Friday that Khalistan should be viewed from an academic perspective, a day after his supporters, some of whom were armed with swords and firearms, attacked the Ajnala police station.

The followers had broken into the police station to seek the release of Lovepreet Singh alias Toofan, who was charged with kidnapping.

“Our goal for Khalistan should not be considered bad or taboo. It should be evaluated intellectually in terms of its potential geopolitical benefits. It is an ideology, and ideologies are immortal. “We are not requesting it from Delhi,” ‘Waris Punjab De’ chairman Amritpal Singh was quoted as saying by the news agency ANI.

Amritpal Singh stated that they have been told that the accused individual will be released as soon as the necessary legal procedures are completed.

He stated that they anticipate Lovepreet Singh’s release by Friday evening, after which he and his supporters will pay homage at the Golden Temple.

Referring to the claimed kidnapping, Satinder Singh, superintendent of police for Amritsar Rural, told reporters that the Amritpal side has provided proof indicating that Lovepreet Singh was not there at the scene.

“They presented their testimony on Thursday. On the basis of this, he is discharged by the court… The SSP stated, “We are providing this proof to the honourable judge.”

He stated in response to a question that the situation is currently quiet and under control. When asked if a case has been opened in connection with Thursday’s violence, the police remained evasive.

According to the police, strict security measures have been implemented within and around the facility. On Thursday, at least three police officers were injured during the confrontation.

Although the preacher and other demonstrators remained at the Ajnala police station for several hours on Thursday, a sizable police presence maintained vigilance but refrained from taking action.

The Amritsar Police did not immediately clarify on Friday morning whether any charges had been filed against Amritpal Singh or his followers for Thursday’s violence.
