Kuldeep Yadav has been added to India’s squad for the third one-day international

Kuldeep Yadav has been added to the Indian squad for the third and final ODI against Bangladesh in Chattagrom due to injuries to Rohit Sharma, Kuldeep Sen, and Deepak Chahar.

The skipper Rohit Sharma suffered a thumb injury while fielding during the second ODI in Dhaka. As a result of the BCCI Medical Team’s assessment, he was sent to a local hospital in Dhaka for MRI scans. As a result of his flight to Mumbai for specialist consultation, he will not be able to participate in the final ODI. He will be contacted later regarding his availability for the upcoming Test series,” stated the BCCI press release.

After a nail-biting second ODI at Sher-E-Bangla stadium, India lost by five runs. Rohit batted at number nine during the second innings and scored 51*(28).

The 2nd ODI also resulted in Deepak Chahar suffering a left hamstring strain and is ruled out of the series. Kuldeep and Deepak will be reported to NCA for further management of their injuries.

In the second ODI, Chahar only bowled three overs.
