India pulls up Pakistan after raising the Kashmir issue during the UNGA emergency session on Ukraine

India slammed Pakistan for raising the issue of Kashmir during a special exigency session of the UN General Assembly on the Ukraine conflict, saying similar statements by Islamabad show “collaborative disdain” of the transnational community and “sympathy for a mindset that has constantly been Lying” deserves.

India’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador, Ruchira Kamboj, said, “One last point before I conclude.” The merger of the Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhya regions of Ukraine.

“We have once again seen an attempt by a delegation to misuse this platform and make useless and pointless remarks against my country,” he said.

“Still, it’s essential to set the record straight. The entire region of Jammu and Kashmir has always been an integral and thick part of India, anyhow of what the representative of Pakistan believes or wants. We call on Pakistan to stop cross-border terrorism so our citizens can enjoy their rights to life and liberty.

In his reflections at the UNGA’s exigency special session called on the Ukrainian conflict, Pakistan’s minister to the United Nations, Munir Akram, raised the issue of Kashmir, saying that under transnational law, the right to tone- determination applies to those who are abroad or social domination and who haven’t yet exercised the right to tone- determination, as in” the case of Jammu and Kashmir”.

He said the right to tone- determination should be exercised in a terrain free from military occupation and under the supervision of the United Nations aegis of the United Nations.

Relations between India and Pakistan have been strained over the Kashmir issue and cross-border terrorism expiring from Pakistan.

Bilateral ties ended after India disannulled Composition 370 of the Constitution, abandoned the special status of Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcated the state into two union homes on August 5, 2019.

Following India’s decision, Pakistan reduced political relations with New Delhi and expelled the Indian envoy. Also, trade relations between Pakistan and India have remained firm.

India has constantly told Pakistan that Jammu and Kashmir” was, is and always will be” and will remain an integral part of the country. India has said it wants normal neighbourly relations with Pakistan in a terrain free from terror, hostility and violence.
