PM Unveils Slew of Projects in Bulandshahr, Gifts UP Town Rs 20,000 Cr Asset Boost

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated development works worth over Rs 19,100 crore during his visit to Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. The projects spanning rail, road, oil transportation and urban infrastructure will provide a major boost to the region.

The PM unveiled multiple big-ticket projects including a 173 km double rail line on the Dedicated Freight Corridor between New Khurja and New Rewari. He also launched road infrastructure works on national highways in the Aligarh and Shamli regions.

Additionally, PM Modi inaugurated the 255 km long Tundla-Gawariya pipeline of Indian Oil constructed at a cost of Rs 700 crore to ease fuel transportation. Integrated industrial township projects in Greater Noida and sewage treatment plants in Mathura and Moradabad were the other key schemes launched.

The new rail freight corridor section with advanced engineering is equipped to handle high-speed container trains. The Mathura-Palwal rail line augmentation will enhance Delhi’s connectivity to south and east India.

The sewage treatment projects in Mathura and Moradabad will help clean up the polluted Yamuna and Ramganga rivers respectively. The slew of connectivity and urban infra upgrades will provide the backward Bulandshahr region a major growth fillip.

CM Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel welcomed PM Modi at the launch event. The PM is also scheduled to meet French President Emmanuel Macron in Jaipur later during the day. His visit underscores the UP government’s emphasis on strengthening infrastructure to drive economic progress.
