Shahrukh Khan’s Blockbuster ‘Jawan’ Set for Republic Day TV Premiere

After smashing box office records and streaming on OTT, Shahrukh Khan’s 2023 blockbuster ‘Jawan’ is now all set for its television premiere. The action-packed thriller will air on television for the first time on Zee Cinema on January 26 to coincide with Republic Day.

‘Jawan’, which features King Khan in a double role, will telecast at 8 PM on Republic Day. The high-octane film had released in cinemas on September 7, 2022 and emerged as a monster hit grossing over ₹1148 crore worldwide.

Shahrukh expressed excitement over the TV premiere saying it will help the film reach wider audiences across India. He stated that ‘Jawan’ is a thrilling rollercoaster ride packed with action, drama, emotions and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.

Co-starring Nayanthara alongside Vijay Sethupathi, Riddhi Dogra and Sanya Malhotra, ‘Jawan’ saw SRK play a military officer and a gangster. Deepika Padukone made a cameo appearance.

The film marked acclaimed south director Atlee’s Bollywood debut. ‘Jawan’s Republic Day TV premiere promises to attract huge viewership given SRK’s star power and the film’s overall blockbuster reception.

For those who missed watching the action extravaganza in theatres or OTT, the TV airing provides the perfect opportunity to see King Khan weave magic on screen once again. The high-voltage drama and top-notch production values of ‘Jawan’ should translate seamlessly to the small screen.
