A few days ago, a large number of Indian admirers criticised me. I’m glad I could silence them: Harry Brook after scoring a century versus KKR

Harry Brook, the man of the match for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday, stated that he was happy to silence the Indian fans who were slagging him before he scored his first century of the season, adding that he was glad to silence them.

Prior to this century, Brook had not ignited in the Indian Premier League, scoring 13, 3, and 13 in his first three matches, resulting in a great deal of online discussion regarding the Englishman’s form.

“When you access social media, people disparage you. There are many Indian supporters out there who will say congratulations tonight. A few days ago, however, they were criticising me. “I’m honestly glad I could silence them,” Brook said after the match.

He also stated that the Eden crowd was exceptional and that he can bat in any position his team desires.

“Many believe that commencing the batting in T20 is the optimal strategy. I am willing to play anywhere. I’ve had a great deal of success batting fifth. Made a name for myself there. My four Test hundreds must surpass this score. Tonight’s audience was phenomenal. “I appreciated it,” he said.

The England batsman remained unbeaten for 100 off 55 deliveries, with 12 fours and three sixes, as SRH ended with 228/4 in their quota of 20 overs, the highest total of the season to date.

“I’ve had a bit of trouble with spin, but I wanted to use the powerplay to my advantage,” Brook had said during an inning break. “Therefore, the middle overs desired to take turns striking and allowing the other boys to bat. It is an excellent pitch, so we must bowl accurately and capture wickets. We still have work to complete. My girlfriend is here, but the rest of my family has just departed; I’m sure they’ll be thrilled for me.”
