Nicholas Pooran, communicating with Rishabh Pant, states that the recovery phase can be melancholy and discouraging.

Nicholas Pooran, a batsman for the West Indies, has endured a harrowing car accident himself, so he understands what Rishabh Pant is experiencing at present.

When his car collided with a divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway last December, India’s star cricketer Pant suffered multiple injuries.

Pooran was admitted to the hospital more than eight years ago following a car accident. It took him six months to regain mobility.

The West Indian stated that he is in contact with Pant, who will be sidelined for an extended period of time.

“It’s very difficult. It is one that no one can comprehend. Sometimes I can recall… Obviously, I have been conversing with Rishabh. We have an extremely strong relationship.

“However, there are times when you become extremely depressed and agitated because you want the healing process to occur so quickly. But it’s difficult,” Pooran said before Saturday’s match between Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings.

Pooran stated that the recuperation could take longer than anticipated and that patience is required.
Pooran, speaking from his experience with the depressed phase, stated, “Sometimes there is no progress. In life, you want to see progress, and you want it to occur quickly, but this does not always occur. It is extremely difficult, but you must have confidence in yourself.

“Must believe that whatever occurred occurred for a purpose. You cannot query it because you will receive no response. You must also have faith in your God. Have confidence in yourself and in your efforts.”
