Cricketer Ravindra Jadeja’s wife, Rivaba Jadeja, made an impressive debut in electoral politics by defeating her nearest rival by 53570 votes in Jamnagar North.
There were 17 rounds of voting in the election, and Rivaba Jadeja was declared the winner with 88110 votes. At the same time, Karshan Karmur of the Aam Aadmi Party received 34818 votes, according to the Election Commission.
During an interview with ANI after winning, Rivaba thanked Ravindra, saying that he was her constant support throughout the campaign. I would also like to give credit to him for this victory. As my husband, he has always stood by my side. “He motivated me, and that’s essential for me,” she said.

As a first-time fielder, he did all he could for me, and when Modiji arrived, he commented on a lighter note that “you (Ravindra) must have never done this before.” Rivaba concluded.
In 2019, Rivabha, who previously headed the women’s wing of Karni Sena, joined the BJP ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. During a media event at the BJP’s Jamnagar office, Rancho Faldu and Poonam Madam welcomed her to the party.
Rivaba made headlines in 2018 after a police constable allegedly assaulted her in Jamnagar. Nevertheless, the police constable alleged that Rivaba had driven her vehicle recklessly and rammed her bike just outside the city’s police headquarters. A local court granted bail to the officer after his lawyer argued that he had been wrongly arraigned.
