Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi began the process of vacating Bungalow No. 12 on Tughlak Lane on Friday after a Parliament committee served him with an eviction notice.

Two trucks carrying cartons and packed household items were seen departing the bungalow. “He was given 30 days (until April 22) to vacate his residence. The procedure of vacating has been ongoing for the past few days… It will take some time to pack up his office and bungalow, said a security officer.

It has been learned that the Congress leader is moving his possessions to his mother and Congress Parliamentary Party chairwoman Sonia Gandhi’s bungalow at 10 Janpath.
