On Uttar Pradesh Foundation Day, Prime Minister Modi stated that the state “contributes greatly to the nation’s progress.”

On Tuesday, President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the celebrations for Uttar Pradesh’s foundation day. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge were among the many political heavyweights who greeted the state’s residents. The administration of Uttar Pradesh has planned to celebrate “Uttar Pradesh Divas” for three days beginning on January 24.

In a tweet written in Hindi, President Murmu wished the inhabitants of Uttar Pradesh a happy Uttar Pradesh Day. This most populous state has presented cultural, literary, artistic, political, and social transformation principles. I hope the inhabitants of Uttar Pradesh who are talented and diligent have a prosperous future.”

Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar noted that UP’s illustrious history, rich spiritual heritage, and architectural marvels had given the state a unique place of pride on the vibrant map of India. He added, “Uttar Pradesh and its hardworking people have made enormous contributions to the growth of the nation. Wishing the ongoing state success and new milestones on the road to increased development.”

Additionally, Prime Minister Modi sent his greetings to the state’s citizens. In recent years, the progress of the state has captured the interest of all. In numerous disciplines, the people of UP have set an example. I wish for the sustained success of our state, which contributes considerably to the nation’s advancement.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted best wishes to the people of UP on the state’s foundation day: “Best wishes to the people of Uttar Pradesh, the country of cultural richness and spirituality. Uttar Pradesh is advancing along the path of growth by dismantling Modi ji’s welfare programmes and development initiatives. I wish for the continued development of the state and the prosperity of its citizens.”

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated, “I wish for the progressive growth of the state” after noting that the people of UP are known for their artistic culture and hard work in India and beyond.

“Warmest greetings to the people of Uttar Pradesh on the state’s foundation day, the holy country of culture and spirituality. Under the supervision of esteemed Prime Minister Mr. @narendramodi ji and the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. @myogiadityanath, the state is setting new benchmarks for growth and prosperity in every field, according to JP Nadda, president of the BJP.

In a tweet in Hindi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote, “The revolutionary land of Uttar Pradesh congratulates all its residents on Uttar Pradesh Day for fulfilling the dream of ensuring safety and prosperity through the fusion of spirituality and modernity. Come, let us take the oath to make our state self-sufficient under the direction of the distinguished Prime Minister.”

The Chief Minister thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his well-wishes, stating, “It is due to your effective guidance that ‘New Uttar Pradesh’ is reaching new heights of self-reliance and general development, as well as becoming the epicentre of good governance and security.”

In addition, he praised party leader J. P. Nadda and home minister Amit Shah for their well wishes.

On Uttar Pradesh Foundation Day, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge tweeted: “The unique confluence of Ganga-Jamuni culture, the holy birthplace of great saints and freedom heroes, and full of political and spiritual magnificent history, best wishes to all the inhabitants of Uttar Pradesh.”

Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia shared a photo of the city of Varanasi with the following caption: “I pray that the state reaches new heights of prosperity under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji and the effectiveness of Chief Minister @myogioffice ji.”

The Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Smriti Irani, also expressed her best wishes, saying, “Uttar Pradesh, the country of cultural richness, history, and spirituality. Uttar Pradesh has contributed greatly to the nation’s development over the years. I hope that the state continues along its current path of progress and prosperity.”

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra tweeted, “Uttar Pradesh is the place that emits the aroma of Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb, blessed with cultural legacy and geographical features; the centre of the independence movement, the land of sacrifice, austerity, and love.”

On the occasion, Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Anurag Thakur, BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushpendra Singh Dhami, and BJP leader Dharampal Singh were among those who wished the state’s citizens well.
